First of all, happy new year to everyone! The year 2011 has been extremely busy for me both personally and professionally. The new year 2012 brings new adventures to the table. Here are some of the highlights of the year 2011.

Apps:

In 2011 I released two apps in the app store. Both apps were educational apps and were directed to the young audience. Mathemachicken was released in early 2011 and allows the young ones to learn basic math skills while having fun. Math Speeder was my first educational game which utilized the accelerometer. I had great time creating these games and I hope you had the same joy playing them.

Screencasts:

In the year 2011 I created a lot of screencasts. The screencasts revolved around Cocos2d Framework and iOS Development. You can watch all the HD quality screencasts on AzamSharp YouTube channel.

Articles:

I published a lot of articles about iOS development on my website HighOnCoding. You can read all the articles using this link.

Podcasts:

In order to give back to the great Cocos2d community I started Cocos2d Podcast with Steffen Itterheim. You can visit the Cocos2d Podcast website at this link or subscribe to the podcast on iTunes here.

Goodbye MVP Status:

I have held my MVP status for 5 years but due to my extreme passion for iOS development I neglected .NET development and lost my MVP status. I believe life is too short and one should do what he/she loves and currently my passion is in iOS development and I am going to pursue it.

In the end 2011 was a very busy year for me but on the same note it was a lot of fun. I look forward for the new year and many new things to learn.
